Richardson (Cobridge) Ltd plate 1921-1925?
« on: January 26, 2008, 01:38:47 AM »
Hi have this (pink) REGALWARE plate, and found the mark R (C) Ltd. stands for Richardson (Cobridge) and era was between 1921 - 1925?

Is this correct for dating this plate?  Thanks.

That would appear to be right, although it is a different mark to the one in my book - maybe the export version

Can we see your mark, in your book?  And is that date then correct?  What do you have for 1921-1925?

A small problem, if the book's still in copyright we can't include a shot of it here.
Cheers!

This one I've had a look on line, but there's almost nothing. With that exact name (Richardsons (Cobridge Ltd), the company seems to have been in existence only about 4 years. It's brand name Regalware and the Richardson family, seem to have been around much longer

So your records also show only about a 4 year period too....like that site I found....so that must be correct as for the date of this....gosh....I never realized this plate was THAT OLD......almost an antique  :old:

Now I will mark the back of it ( in black wax pencil -- rubs off easy) so that the information stays with it.  Once I find out facts on anything here, I list the info on it, so that whomever (or next of kin) can have the facts of the item there, instead of just trashing it.....I just want to make sure its history stays with any heirloom stuff I have here... :-\

(just silly me)....
