Seen a nice vase, sorry no photo, but it has impressed on base 101/?, very 50s style.
Now I know that's not much to go on Kev,  but am hoping you may be able to ID maker from the numbers?  Am I asking too much?    Emmi

Try and give us some more details I am sure some of us might  be able to help colour, type of glaze, height, handle or not, a general description. we'el make a game of it, guess the vase with out a picture:)

OK, if you can bear it!  It was in a local collectables centre, too high price, person in charge couldn't get hold of owner, I did not have camera, etc etc.

It was about 7 inches tall, pulled up rim(like a slice of lemon without the flesh)
Criss crossed with lines of whiteish glaze, making irregular sections which are coloured in with random bright colours. Base covered in dark brown glaze which I think also lined the vase.  That's about it.  Good luck , sleuths!!  Emmi

Hi Christine, it had a similar shaped rim although more subtle........and the white outlines on the vase were more random,sort of more like diamond shapes than square, but you have the general idea.  Getting warm!  Emmi

Just found something in the Schlossberg thread which is very similar decor - Kuba.
Kev has posted a photo of a plate which looks like my vase. So I think the mystery is over folks, if Kev can find a vase form which matches my number from this makerOver to you Kev. Emmi
