Jersey Pottery
« on: August 20, 2007, 11:50:57 AM »
These vases and bowl were bought in Jersey in 1988.  The green one is mine and the brown vase & bowl belong to one of my sons, who has forgotten he left it with me  >:D

I'm not a fan of Jersey Pottery but I was given this. I'm still not sure what it is, it may be part of something else or some kind of flower holder.

I think your's is a candle holder TC, the initials after Jersey pottery usualy indicate the potter or painter, when you se one with JO it is for Jo Lester, hope this helps.
Scrap that, i got the wrong pottery, Jo lester is Isle of white  ::) :hb: bl***dy idiot

You're certainly NOT a bl**dy idiot, Sue!  :kissy:  I think you must have so much information in your head that it's no wonder some of it gets muddled sometimes!  :-*  ;D

Tony, I think your piece would look great with candles in each side and flowers in the middle bit!  Why not try an arrangement?  You might decide you like it better  ;)

Clever, a candle holder, why didn't I think of that. No , you're not a bl**dy idiot, it's me that's daft, I can't see a candle holder when I see one... or the wax that I found in the bottom of it just now.  ::)
