Anyone heard of this?
« on: August 21, 2007, 05:20:17 AM »
Hi  :) I have a pitcher that was my Granny's, so I am assuming it is from the possible 40's - 60's era(?)  It is a creamy white, very high gloss pitcher, with applied (like transferware) flowers on it.  It is signed on the bottom with "BLUE MOUNTAIN CERAMICS" (NOT blue mountain POTTERY).  Someone has said to me that there was a piece in New York back years ago called that, and that at one time Blue Mountain Pottery was going to sue this company due to having a name so close to theirs.  Does anyone know of this?  Know, or heard of this place?  Have any information/history/fact/knowledge about this?   ???  It would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks !
