Yes , that's the guy alright,i just checked the signature on a web site and read a little bit about the potter.I would love to see some of his sculptures,have you seen any pics of them?
In response to your questions, the vase is four inches tall and to your second question, Sorry i doubt it but it depends on what you have to swap i guess?
Many thanks for naming the potter though, i love having mystery pots when you know that they are quality and then there's the extra fun of finding the maker.This time it's a good'n.

Only joking about the swap Dan..I've always liked DD's work and have had a few with the high fired copper red glazes like on yours which I think is beautiful.

Derek Maynard Davis, artist: born London 24 February 1926; married 1953 Ruth Lambert (one son); died Chichester 3 September 2008.
