« on: March 01, 2008, 11:25:56 PM »
I recieved this vase from my dad after my grandfather passed away...i know that his great grandmother had it in the 30's and i'd just like to know a lil more about it if anyone could help me...

here are a few photos...the last one says MADE IN USA and has either the number 457 or 45R...my camera isn't cooperating so well tonight so it's not coming out clear...

if anyone has any suggestions as to what make it might be i'd be pleased to know...~s~...thank you in advance for any help

Hi tlg....and  :cheerleader: Welcome to the Board  :cheerleader:

There are a few of us Canadians on the board. The other amazing folks here are from all over the world, and usually sleeping when we are up..... ;)

Believe me when I say amazing folks here -- they have helped me find Canadian Info- yet they are almost on the other side of the World....and more than once this has happened.

Me -- well, I know a bit, well some, well a tiny bit...lol.  Is it possible to post another pix of the bottom.....is your camera feeling better today?

My thoughts are Shawnee, McCoy, Weller, Roseville, Stangl.....even Haeger, but probably all WRONG. In the meantime I found some pottery that (seemed) similiar (maybe)...

So just wait till the others are awake in their part of the world, and BELIEVE ME, they will do their utmost to help you....

You need to use the macro (flower symbol) on your camera. Get as close as it will focus (see manual) but don't zoom.
